Sand Tarts
Granddaddy Johnson always said that it just wasn't Christmas unless
their
were Sand Tarts!
Cream butter and sugar. Work flour, vanilla and nuts into
creamed
mixture. Form into small balls. Cook on ungreased sheet
in moderate
oven (325 degrees-350 degrees) for about 30 min. Let cool.
Roll tarts
in powdered sugar.
